NAPA Therapy Tools

Our Evidence-Based Tools & Techniques

We bring together the most innovative pediatric therapy tools from around the world — all offered under one roof — to help your child reach their highest potential. Here are just a few of the therapy tools used at our NAPA Charlotte clinic.

DMI

Dynamic Movement Intervention

DMI is a hands-on therapy, research-supported approach used by physical and occupational therapists to help your child improve alignment, body awareness, and movement skills.

NeuroSuit

Therapeutic Suit

The NeuroSuit is a therapeutic suit that helps your child move with better alignment and control. It helps improve body awareness, motor planning, and strength, making therapy exercises more effective.

SpiderCage

Bungee Cage

The SpiderCage uses supportive bungees to help your child work on balance, strength, and standing in a safe and aligned way. It gives children the freedom to move while still feeling secure, helping build confidence and independence.

Theratogs

Wearable Orthotics

TheraTogs are wearable orthotics that help improve your child’s posture, alignment, and movement. Your therapist may trial them in clinic before recommending a set for home use.

VitalStim

Swallowing Support

VitalStim is a non-invasive therapy that uses gentle electrical stimulation to strengthen the muscles involved in swallowing. It helps children improve coordination and safety during eating and drinking.

Vibration Plate

Muscle Activation

NAPA uses the Galileo vibration plate to gently stimulate your child’s muscles. This helps improve balance, mobility, strength, and coordination, and is used throughout PT, OT, and ST sessions.
